砂まみれの背広


連日、問題解決に向けて走り回っています。
明日は、そのことでスーダン政府の大変地位の高い方と会う予定にしています。

正装していかなければいけませんが、私の部屋にある衣服はすべて砂をかぶっており、もはや修復不可能に思えます。どうしましょうか。

さて、息子から電話がありました。
残念な結果だったようです。
福岡選抜チームに選ばれなかったとの報告が来ました。

電話がかかってきたときは、満員バスの中で立って大きな声で話していました。
さぞかし、おかしな東洋人だと思われたでしょうが、そんなことはどうでも良いことです。
息子と対峙することが一番だからです。

挫折や失敗が今後の糧になります。
その悔しさが次の大きなステップになります。

そして、青春の只中を懸命に生きて欲しいです。

息子は中学時代を運動面に関しては、本当によく頑張ったと思います。
今後は、勉強だね。

電話を受けて後、満員バスの中で私の頬に、なぜだか一筋の涙がこぼれました。

さあ、今度は俺が頑張るかな。
